Finveo’s CEO and Business Operations Officer attended the International Conference “Montenegro in the EU – Lessons, Issues and Policy Directions,” held on 16 October 2026 at Hilton Podgorica, Montenegro.
Organized by the Center for Finance and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, under the patronage of the President of Montenegro, the conference brought together policymakers, economists, business leaders and experts from nine European Union member states to discuss Montenegro’s European integration and its long-term economic development. The program also featured insights from Nobel laureate in Economic Sciences James Robinson.
Discussions focused on the experiences of countries that have joined the European Union, the institutional reforms required for successful access, and the role of investment, productivity and innovation in strengthening economic competitiveness. Participants also explored how Montenegro can translate the EU access process into sustainable economic growth and improved living standards.
